Yesterday, a group of young people organized a 5 kilometer rally to congratulate Alh. Sani Faransa (Garkuwan Matasan Ganye) on his second inauguration as Chairman Heavy Trucks Ganye.

Alh Sani, who is also the President Forestry Protection, Madrid Producers and Timber Contractors Adamawa state Union was inaugurated early last week in Mayo Belwa on 10th January 2023 for a second tenure as Chairman.

The group marched from Ganye town to meet Alh Sani at his NURTW office at Ganye main market where they explained the purpose of their visit and also reiterated their support to his leadership as well as congratulating him once again for the inauguration.

The group leader AY Dan Jimeta on behalf of the group maintained that Alh Sani has been a pillar of youth’s development in Adamawa through his mentorship, philanthropy and human and community development which is why he inspired them to show their love and appreciation towards him.

On the other hand, Alh Sani expressed his gratitude to almighty Allah and thanked the group for their magnanimous efforts, especially their recognition, rallying support, and congratulatory visits. He also used the opportunity to call on the youth to be law abiding citizens, shun political violence and drug abuse, try to be self-dependent by engaging in skills, take their education seriously among others.

The group finally prayed for the chairman, seeking Allah protection and guidance throughout his tenure.
